Craig Dixon "Paisan"
BASSIST - VOCALS
One of the area's
leading musician's, Paisan brings to the Boomer Band a multitude
of talents. His songwriting abilities and performing skills are widely
appreciated by local peers as well as on a grander scale. "Music and
performing have always been a huge part of who Craig is since early
childhood." Craig, also known as "CC", picked up his first
instrument while still in grade school and hasn't put them down since.
A integral part of
the early rock and roll scene in Portland, Craig was a founding member of the
nationally renowned band Jacob's Ladder and took the Stage at the first Oregon
Vortex, the west coast's answer to Woodstock.
Craig has toured with
Tina Turner, played with Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass, rubbed shoulders
with the likes of Heart, and appeared on network television, most recently with
another local favorite Highly Contagious, and this list goes on and on.
With
his current endeavor the Boomer Band, Paisan sees the opportunity to take his
vast experience and knowledge to new levels by offering the audience a truly
unique experience of sights and sounds. "We are focused on joining the
ranks of the top performing acts in the area. We want to separate ourselves from
what everyone else is doing." With Paisan as part of the lineup, the
Boomer Band is poised to archive higher goals and then some!
